My Story
I found a lump in my left breast at 39 years of age.I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma with Metastasis to my Axillary Lymph nodes.  Four years later, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer to my L5 vertebrae. My cancer journey has included 20 weeks of  I.V. chemotherapy, a double mastectomy & reconstructive surgery, a life changing stay in the ICU due to organ failure & sepsis, 8 weeks of radiation, participation in a clinical trial, high dose radiation to my spine, Oral chemotherapy and navigating life as a breast cancer survivor. I am determined to learn and grow from my experiences with an appreciation for the lessons I've endured and excitement for a second chance at living.

In the darkest moments of our life, we truly find our greatest strengths.
